Basic budget hotel but safe and convenient

Very basic hotel, wifi was weak, very limited work space and no power socket by work top. Very convenient for local transport with metro five mins walk. Some great restaurants also 5 mins walk away

Central location

Stayed for an expo at the Messe. All hotel prices inflated and not a true reflection on a basic hotel. Good breakfast. Close to transport. Turn left out of the entrance and a typical pub serving food.

Perfect for my needs

A great location only a few minutes walk from the train station and not much more to the cafes and bars. Breakfast was varied, fresh and very good to be included in the price. A decent cup of coffee. The single room wasn't massive but it was clean and comfortable and the shower was excellent. Nice toiletries which were replaced. Overall, great value for money and would recommend for solo travellers like me.

The entire property reeked of smoke. Even after leaving both windows wide open while I slept for 6 hours, I still woke up able to smell it. It was that bad. I checked out just 7 hours after I checked in. Was supposed to be a 3 day stay but wasn't going to put my health through that.

The hotel is under construction. The credit card machine is not working. Receptionist was asking for cash for the payment, no other choice. The room has no TV hearing is not working.. and the money which we paid is extraordinary high due to the exhibition in Düsseldorf… totally a very upset stay, and this is the first time I had this experience at a hotel which I booked via hotels.com

Very dirty smelling with mices

This hotel is the worst hotel , I ever stay not only that the staff didn't welcome us properly, the bathroom was dirty smell that was a mice , couldn't sleep, if I paid 20 $ ok but for what I paid I feed rob , I ask to get my money back!!!

Good points: Very good will of the (English speaking) manager Good, central location Reasonable breakfast CON: Unreasonable price of >300EU/Night (indeed during a big fare in Dusseldorf, but still...) for a mid-tier hotel. Missing points: Non-English speaking receptionist Room not clean (old socks of former guests, ear swabs) Awful "view" of emergency stairs and the next room Bed too large for the room dimension can hardly maneuver around it No reading/night light next to bed Too small WC Bathroom curtain too short No ironing board Misfunctioning mini-refrigerator (and yet empty) had to disconnect it from power supply.

Receptionist who is white hair man altitude is not professional. I did make resevation and he is so lazy to find lists and keep saying my booking is incorrect. After asking to chek many times, he finally find the lists that my booking data is correct...

Bad hotel for the money you can book a better one

This. Hotel is not clean it's old the room we were given was 6 flights up into the gods with no lift the lift only services the other part off hotel the room we were in the best thing was the bathroom and even here you couldn't swing a cat very small this shouldn't be a twin room as the beds are squeezed in and the only windows can't be opened so you rely on roof light no air-conditioning no windows as such top floor like a sauna carpet on steps need a clean or replacing tryed to over charge for carpark not successful breakfast is basic

Hotellet var greit, men det ble fort dårlig luft på rommet hvis vinduene var lukket. Det betydde for oss at vi måtte ha vinduene åpne døgnet rundt, men siden hotellet ligger i en svært trafikkert gate og med mye natteliv ble det dårlig med søvn. Det var ingen rengjøring/ryddig av rom de dagene vi var der, men vi fikk nye håndklær og toalettpapir når vi ba om det. Det var heller ikke noe kjøleskap eller vannkoker på rommet. Vi betalte ikke så mye for rommet, så basert på dette var det et greit hotell.
