Updated home with views near downtown Durango - Hot Tub, AC & Yard

  • Our single level home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in Durango just 1.5 miles from the historic Downtown Durango and and 24 miles (25 minutes) from Purgatory ski area.

    Note the home is the top 2 floors of a 3 story home with its own separate entrance and stairs are required to access the home from the outside. The hot tub, grill and deck are private for this home only. The owners live in the middle floor for some of the year and have their own entrance. There is plenty of off street parking right in front of the entrance. The home has all of the expected amenities of a short term rental including washer/dryer, AC, fast WIFI, fully stocked kitchen and even a private hot tub etc.

    Bed Configuration:
    Master Bedroom - King with TV and Ensuite Bath
    2nd Bedroom - Queen
    3rd Bedroom - Bunk bed (Single over Single)

    Our home is NOT pet friendly due to severe allergies. This includes service animals in accordance with ADA standards and compliance restrictions related to severe allergies.

    Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities

This was an amazing experience! I had to book under short notice, because the other place i was staying at was too small, and I am so glad I did!! Shawn and Kit are great hosts, and me and my daughter really enjoyed meeting them. They're place is incredible!! And perfect location!

Great host, great property. I didn’t realize it was a shared property until check in and VRBO did not send the check in or check out instructions… but other than that it’s a very cute place, clean, and nice hot tub.

Communication was great, everything was clean and quiet. The owners were out of town during our stay, so there was no concern about keeping the noise level down.

Best Vacation Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is absolutely beautiful; the pictures don't do it justice. All three bedrooms are spacious, everything is updated, and it's so nice. The kitchen is small but well-stocked (a coffee pot with coffee, and even a crockpot!). Everything in Durango was within 10 minutes, yet the home was SUPER quiet. If you like sleeping in a dark cave, I would suggest bringing a sleep mask as this is a bright, beautiful home. The homeowners were an absolute delight, and have the best advice on how to experience the area. Look forward to returning to Durango and staying here again!

We loved our stay at this cozy cabin feel home! We were gone most of the day, but when we came back to this warm and cozy and beautifully updated cabin, it made our stay that much better. After a long day it was nice to relax in the hot tub under the stars. We brought our boys (3yrs and 5yrs old) for the Polar Express. And they loved hearing the train whistle while sitting in the hot tub. Would stay here again!

Excellent place!!

This place was great to stay at. We used the hot tub and the grill. A very well kept property with easy access to all of Durango.

Awesome vacation!!

This property was just as advertised - great location, comfortable beds and you could see the changing fall leaves right outside the huge windows. We loved it!

Lovely stay in Durango

Great neighborhood, close to town and hiking trails. Beautiful accommodations. Owners live on property and were kind and very friendly, while also letting us do our own thing. We hope to stay there again sometime!

Spring Break ski vacation

The O’Reillys have such a wonderful home and it was perfect for our spring break ski vacation. They were so warm and welcoming. The property was clean well equipped and perfect for our spring break getaway. We enjoyed our cozy evenings, relaxing after dinner and a long day of skiing.

Perfect

The owners were extremely accommodating and so sweet. The play house in back was fantastic for my littles and the hot tub was perfect for the adults.

Amazing House and Amazing Host

We loved our stay at this great house, but honestly the host was even more amazing. He was so kind and thoughtful in caring for our group, I'm very thankful. I would strongly recommend this VRBO to anyone visiting the Durango area

Review

Lovely home in a beautiful setting. Very clean and with plenty of supplies to get us started. The kids loved the playhouse in the backyard. It took us a while to get used to using the fan/open windows because of no air conditioning but were very comfortable for the most part. We would stay there again.

Great place with great people.

The unit is one of the cleanest I have experienced! Proprietors live on main level and we’re extremely kind and accommodating.

Great home away from home.

Our family of 6 spent 4 days at this lovely rental. It was spacious, clean, quiet and had everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable and the towels were nice and fluffy. We ran into the owners and they are super nice and friendly. We enjoyed talking with them about Durango and all that it has to offer. We would definately stay here again!!

Lovely home and location

2 couples were very comfortable here. Quiet & clean. The 2nd bathroom was not ensuite, but across the unit and next to the Master (which has its own lovely ensui bath) ensuite

The home was beautiful, clean, spacious, and accommodated our family of six perfectly. The property owners, who live on the main floor, are the kindest and most gracious hosts. The home is a little over a mile from the downtown area, and has easy access to parking. I highly recommend this property.
