Walk or ride your bike into downtown Durango when you stay at this pristine two-bedroom townhouse, where you'll also enjoy a private patio, a beautiful interior, and easy access to several nearby hiking trails, restaurants, and shops.

Built in 2014, this bright and beautiful home sits just two miles north of downtown Durango, two blocks from the Animas Mountain Trailhead, and three blocks from an access point to the Animas River Trail. If you're looking to explore the surrounding mountains, you'll find Vallecito Lake only 20 miles away, as well as the ski slopes of Purgatory Resort 25 miles north.

Step inside the 1,500-square-foot living space to discover an open floorplan, hardwood floors, and comfortable furnishings. Take a bike ride along the Animas River and return home to find WiFi, a selection of books and DVDs, and a flatscreen cable TV.

When you're not sampling the fresh fish tacos at Zia Taqueria around the corner, you'll have use of a kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a dishwasher to handle the clean-up. There is ample seating for six around the dining room table, as well as two extra stools at the bar.

And when the sun is shining in this charming western town, you'll have a private patio, outdoor furniture, and a gas grill for afternoon barbecues.

With two mountain view bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and one half-bath, this townhouse can sleep as many as five people. You'll have a beautiful queen bed in the light-filled primary bedroom, as well as a twin bed for your little one. The guest room has a queen-size bed, while the living room day bed converts into an extra-long twin.

Additional amenities include a private washer and dryer and sheltered garage parking for one car.

Whether you're planning a family vacation or a getaway with friends to beautiful Southwest Colorado, Durango is an ideal destination in every season. When you're not browsing the galleries downtown, take a day trip to Vallecito Lake, which offers ice fishing and Nordic skiing in the winter, as well as fishing and boating in the summer. You'll also be only 38 miles from Mesa Verde National Park, the site of the famous Anasazi cliff dwellings. And if you're in search of winter snow sports, look no further than Purgatory, which has 1,360 acres of wonderfully varied terrain.

Great location close to downtown shopping & restaurants but nestled in quiet neighborhood. Exceptionally clean & owners thought of every possible amenity. Great for families. So much better than a hotel!

Amazing Stay
This is everything you need in a place to stay in Durango. Great location (walkable), super comfy beds, really clean and easy check-in/out process. I will stay here anytime I go back to Durango. Tons of room, all kinds of amenities, everything and more stocked in the kitchen. Cannot recommend it enough!

Management is terrible!!
VRBO knew ahead of our Check in that the AC had gone out. They did absolutely nothing to get it repaired, just tried to pretend it was no big deal and offered no compensation for our ruined vacation. It was in the 90’s and we were absolutely miserable! Called everyday and never got the help promised. House was full of ants and roaches too. VRBO is a terrible company who does nothing to help people. No one ever called us. No one tried to help.

Wonderful house, slightly warm
Everything about the location, the house, the space, the kitchen, was great except for the air conditioning. The other reviews mentioned it was a bit warm and I thought we'd be able to handle it since we live in weather that's usually 100+ during the summer. We were able to tolerate it but it's definitely warm, even with the windows open at night at 50 degree lows. Aside from that, the house was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay.

Super clean, well-cared for and superbly appointed town house.
Just a really nice townhouse, in a very nice location. It is what we expect when we rent a home....but so often today the rentals fall short of our expectations. This home fully met and in categories, exceeded our expectations.

Nice Home
Overall, our stay in this home was satisfactory. It was clean and in a great location. Positives - 1) Very roomy/spacious, 2) Location was perfect and we never had to travel far to get to what we wanted to do, 3) Overall, this home had most everything we needed. Negatives - 1) The description said that both bedrooms had Queen-sized beds. However, the second bedroom had a full-sized bed, which was too small for my husband and son to sleep in together. My son ended up sleeping in one of the twin beds downstairs. 2) We went above our budget on this home because it was supposed to have air conditioning. There was air conditioning, but it was not enough to cool the entire house. The downstairs was coolest, but never got below 72 degrees. The upstairs did not seem to receive the air conditioning at all. We had to sleep with the windows open and fans blowing - that wasn't enough. Attempting to sleep was pretty miserable most nights, 3) there were no ceiling fans, 4) there was only one tv in the entire house (the description may have said that, so it's my fault for not noticing, but still inconvenient.) Although very nice and clean, we would not choose to stay here again.

Family trip
We have stayed in this property multiple times on family vacations to Durango. The home is beautiful inside and out. The location is great and the neighborhood is really charming. We could have used a few more towels for our group of 5 and we had trouble finding the grilling tools as they did not seem to be left in their box.
