Ski in/Out 7th Floor Penthouse at Purg - Huge Deck w/ Mountain/Slope Views/AC

Just take the elevator to the ground floor and you are steps away from the Six Pack lift. Our 4 bedroom/4.5 bath single level condo (3,140 sq ft) is the Penthouse on the 7th floor of the Eolus building, which is located in the heart of the main plaza - making your vacation as easy and convenient as possible. This condo was originally built for the founder of Purgatory (Ray Duncan of Silver Oak fame).

The condo was recently remodeled and features southwestern furniture and features exposed beams and amazing picture windows from both living spaces with views of the slopes and the main base area. The deck off the main living space is one of the largest at Purgatory (new deck furniture is being added in July 2024) and there is also a smaller deck off the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms, both of which have amazing views.

The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked and the condo features the usually amenities in a luxury vacation rental including a washer/dryer, WIFI, wood burning fireplace (firewood is provided) and the two separate living spaces make it perfect for multiple families. There is one assigned parking space on the 2nd floor of the building and additional vehicles can be parked in the main parking lot for free. For the few warm days each summer, the unit is one of very few at Purgatory with central AC.

Each bedroom has an attached full bathroom and a TV.

As with all properties in the Eolus building, the condo is not pet friendly per HOA Rules - please do not bring pets or emotional support animals.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Amazing views and property

The condo was perfect for our friends getaway. The views were spectacular and the short walk right up to the lifts was super convenient. Only gripe would be the WiFi was a little spoty. We had to connect to the resort WiFi to get service. And we were told the hot tubs would be open but they weren’t. But that has nothing to do with the condo

Amazing Condo

The 7th Floor Penthouse at Purgatory is an absolutely stunning condo. We had a party of 11 and everyone had plenty of space. Two separate living areas with plenty of seating for everyone, not to mention the amazing view of the slopes. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook plus more. The bedrooms were comfortable with extra bedding/pillows in each closet. The deck was perfect for watching the slope and main lift area. The host was very responsive to my questions and concerns and accommodated where they could. We will definitely be back for this amazing slice of heaven.

Beautiful penthouse condo

We had a wonderful time. I would recommend a renter manual with stove top and oven instructions as well as describing how the unit’s central air fan and heater work. We were able to google the model and make of the stove top to find operational instructions. Only certain pans with a perfectly smooth surface work on the stove top. We ran the central air fan thinking it would help cool the condo. The side room that gets the late afternoon sun was extremely hot. We did not realize using the fan simply vented even hotter air back into that room. The property management people were very responsive!
