"That is the second time we stay in this property. It is small family run hotel with a reasonable price and proper facilities. The owner is quite friendly and made our check in as soon smooth as possible. I have chosen this place not just because its price and the conditions of the facility but because Boyana is my preferred district in Sofia, too. You can easily park your car right in front of the hotel or to the property owned parking right behind the hotel, you walk to Boyana Church which is a World Heritage site and enjoy the frsh and crisp mountain air. Besides, if you have time, you can easily have a walk both in the Vitosha park and on the top of Vitosha mountain which offers you a great view of the city of Sofia. Lastly, you can drive anywhere in the city in less than 30 minutes and there are countless numbers of restaurants serving both local and international cuisine. "

"Its is a communist era hotel. Having said that it is clean and has everything that you would need. The rooms are clean and spacious, but the food is not so good."

"There’s nothing Grand about it in the slightest. It isn't the cheapest hotel around yet you still have to pay 10bng to use the sauna each time. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Bulgaria and this is the first I’ve heard of this. No kettle or hairdryer in the room, just a TV and drinking glasses. Extremely dated, the bed is not comfortable and you can feel the springs. The drains/water really smell disgusting and the shower curtain stank of cigarette smoke. The room was not at all soundproofed (it is really noisy). You can hear people in other rooms talking and even going to the toilet! Breakfast is not a buffet as stated in the description, it is an option of 4/5 small offerings. I ordered scrambled eggs as stated on the menu and this is literally all I got! My partner ordered the combination option which included one slice of tomato, stale cake with salami and cheese. In addition, check-in took ten times longer than it should as the guy didnt speak English. He had to make calls to someone else who worked there to translate. Fair enough until he kept on saying we owed 80bng for the room. I said I had paid (on Gtranslate), it was then written on paper for me. I reiterated I had paid and showed the invoice yet he then claimed I still needed to pay for breakfast which was included. Totally unprofessional.An apology was given for the language barrier in the morning but it is the demanding more money that I didn’t feel comfortable with.Not worth the money, get nicer and cheaper!"

"The hotel is not a 4 stars hotel. Pictures on the Expedia web site are deceiving. Old with small rooms that lack even a bench to place your suitcase. It had space for a small suitcase only, the type that you take with you onboard on an airplane. Beakfast is just O.K. nothing special. Bathroom was old with cheap skinny towels. Not worth the $140 per night that we paid, maybe $70 would had been the correct price considering the facilities."
