"This was an amazing place to stay as well as visit. The staff was kind, helpful, knowledgeable and wonderful. The grounds and rooms a beautiful and comfortable. The restaurant is delicious and the distillery tour is a must. The only complaint i would have is the boxed breakfast and self serve coffee in room."

"We had an amazing stay at Barbara's place. The house was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for a larger group, with plenty of room to relax, cook, and enjoy meals together. The views of the surrounding nature were breathtaking, and the location was ideal for exploring all the beauty Cape Breton Island has to offer. Barbara was thoughtful and responsive, making sure everything was just right. We’d absolutely stay here again—highly recommended!"

"We stayed just for one night but would have loved to have stayed longer to fully experience this incredible property! It was such a beautiful location with art pieces everywhere you looked. The host was incredibly friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! The hot tub was a definite treat after a cool day hiking and the stars at night… wow! Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area and would stay again when we come back! "

"This was a great home in the quaint community of Inverness. Minutes from Cabot Links and about 10 min from Cabot Cliffs, it provides excellent access to both premier courses. Multiple restaurants are within walking distance and Robins (coffee) is half a block away. This is a small home with bathroom on the main floor, 3 bedrooms upstairs. It is well furnished and was very clean upon check in. You can sleep 8 here but maybe 5-6 is a better number. It’s a short walk to the sandy beach where sea glass is readily found. All in all, a comfortable home in a wonderful community. "

"Really enjoyed staying in this home. The host was responsive and helpful with some recommendations. A very homey feel with everything you need to come back to after a long day exploring the island. Just a few min to a couple beaches, 15 min to town which felt doable even for a quick trip for ice cream, and about 30 min to the entrance to the national park. Comfortable bedding and couch. "

"Amazing place, very spacious pool table very nice touch. You’re not right on the trail, but you have access to the snowmobile trails without trailing. Definitely recommend this place to anyone with a large group that is looking to spend some time on the snowmobile trails in Cape Breton. "
