"Unclear message saying pool closed - I thought it meant for the foreseeable but it meant for a few hours while we fix something. Grrr. Missed a few swims. Otherwise very good although I feel that £12.50for breakfast is too much"

"A lovely stay! Nice modern cottage with added bonus of sauna. The location was good for sightseeing base Took advantage of the spa which was very nice but pricey @£95 per person which was just for the use of the facilities We also enjoyed the tasting menu which was very good! Just would like to suggest that an information manual in the cottage’s to help with heating, cooking etc"

"This is absolutely one of the best hotel stays I’ve had and I have travelled all over the world. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and location is beautiful. The spa downstairs is nothing short of amazing . But absolutely the most amazing thing about this hotel is from the moment you arrive you feel like you’re staying with family. I went downstairs in the evening to ask for some cutlery and the receptionist said hello Nicki how can I help you? I was so surprised that she remembered my name but at the same time I’m not because this is indicative of the way they treat you . you literally feel like you’re staying with family in the most beautiful surroundings. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough I will definitely be back and hopefully for longer next time"
