"The property had a few drawbacks during our 4-day stay in Scotland. While the overall experience was generally positive, there were a few areas that could use improvement: The beds were not very comfortable. They were two separate single beds pushed together rather than a proper double/queen bed. This caused the beds to shift and separate during the night, disrupting sleep. Additionally, the beds were at slightly different heights, which was awkward. Sound insulation from the ceiling was poor....

"4 of us spending a week in town to play all the excellent golf courses locally and enjoy the town. Location is great with many restaurants, shops, coffee places and takeaway shops either right below or nearby. Lovely gardens and the harbor just down the street. You may have some late night noise from the street or pub below. The convenience and size of the flat was great for what we needed and Annie was very quick to respond to any questions."

All of the regular amenities one would expect were to hand and the spacious lounge and generous sized bedrooms made for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. "My goodness, what to say... the stay at the Ark was FABULOUS! It is a gorgeous apartment with three very comfortable bedrooms and the most amazing view of the Firth of Fourth. I stayed with my husband and in-laws and we absolutely loved it. The place is a quaint seaside apartment/cottage type place that reminds me of the houses we've stay in at the Outer Banks in North Carolina. "We recently stayed at May Cottage and it was just what we needed. The cottage is lovely and much bigger than we anticipated, especially the bedrooms - they’re a really big! Kitchen has everything you need and even though we had taken hand wash and washing up liquid etc, it was all provided. Even dishwasher tablets! The views from the garden are exceptional and it was very quiet. We loved sitting watching the families of swallows flying in and out of their nests and listening their babies...
