The house was very clean and well-maintained, making it a perfect place for a comfortable stay.Everyone, including the kids, enjoyed it so much. The highlight for them was catching a fish right from the back waters of the house – such a fun and memorable experience!It’s a wonderful spot whether you’re staying with family or friends, ideal for both relaxation and making great memories. The host, Frank, was excellent – very helpful and quick to respond to all inquiries.I would rate this place 10/10 for the house, the stay, and the host. The only small suggestion would be to have the grill located outside the kitchen door, which would make it more convenient than carrying things to the other side of the house.Overall, highly recommended! "

"we have stayed here more than once but this time we were not happy the pool wasn't open, they said it was under repairs, this should have been told to me when I called and I asked about the pool and they said yes, we have a pool, they should have said yes, we have a pool but its not open, not right, we will probably not stay there next year on our way to va beach, sad to say"

"This property is a wonderful place to stay if looking for beautiful sun rises and sunsets, beautiful views, and quiet, peaceful surroundings. The home was spacious and wonderful. We loved the central room, containing a spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room (open floor plan). This room allowed everyone to be together and enjoy home cooked meals and lively conversation. We spent a lot of time on the porch overlooking the river, barbecuing, and spending quality family time together."

"We absolutely loved this river cottage!! It had the perfect amount of space and everything we needed for a weekend away. We loved the proximity to Kilmarnock and Topping. The cottage itself had the most beautiful views. We enjoyed the charm of the home, featuring accents from the original cottage. Super cute! We would definitely stay again!"
