"The property was as good as all the other reviews state. We had a great time. Beautiful sunsets, quiet, plenty of room. Highly recommend unless you want to be close to lots of things to do which we didn't care about. Don't bother bringing spices. When they say basic spices they mean all the normal ones you could want. Very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Tom was very responsive when contacted both by email and by phone. One thing to check out that is not too far away in Warsaw is the Tom Rhodes Tree Carving Trail. We really enjoyed that."

"Wonderfully clean, new renovation and ample space (3 baths!) made this an excellent place to call home for a few days. Beautiful beach on the Rappahannock just down the road (walking or golf cart distance). "

"The stay at the house was absolutely fantastic! It’s a beautiful home with stunning views, and watching the sunrise in the morning was truly spectacular. The house was very clean and well-maintained, making it a perfect place for a comfortable stay.Everyone, including the kids, enjoyed it so much. The highlight for them was catching a fish right from the back waters of the house – such a fun and memorable experience!It’s a wonderful spot whether you’re staying with family or friends, ideal for both relaxation and making great memories. The host, Frank, was excellent – very helpful and quick to respond to all inquiries.I would rate this place 10/10 for the house, the stay, and the host. The only small suggestion would be to have the grill located outside the kitchen door, which would make it more convenient than carrying things to the other side of the house.Overall, highly recommended! "This property is a wonderful place to stay if looking for beautiful sun rises and sunsets, beautiful views, and quiet, peaceful surroundings. The home was spacious and wonderful. We loved the central room, containing a spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room (open floor plan). This room allowed everyone to be together and enjoy home cooked meals and lively conversation. We spent a lot of time on the porch overlooking the river, barbecuing, and spending quality family time together."
