"Staying here was like a dream. The most perfectly curated space with no detail overlooked resulting in a quintessential English B&B experience. The house and rooms were impeccably clean. "We absolutely loved our stay at the Steadings! Was a random find on hotels.com and we’re so glad we found it! Really good price for the time of year (December) - we booked in May (roughly). It was decorated for Christmas, and had everything we needed. A rare find but total treat! Would definitely come back and recommend! The only negatives would be the hottub not being covered - this is due to be rectified! And the road down to the lodge is very bumpy - a typical farm road! Make sure you follow...

"Fantastic welcome from Sam the host. Great breakfast, really appreciated the fruit salad, that was a nice surprise! Very nice comfortable room and just a short walk from town. Great recommendations of pubs/restaurants and the discounts are a nice touch. WiFi reception could be improved but it was sufficient to get some work done in the evening. I will definitely stay again when back in the area."

"Absolutely fabulous hotel. The lady at reception was lovely - friendly and helpful. We were able to store our bags when we arrived then went out for lunch. We were able to check in early which was great. All staff have been lovely - I would thoroughly recommend this place."
