"We have been to many vacation homes but this one is our new favourite! The waterfront cabin is privately situated on the property, amidst beautifully maintained gardens and lawns. We were able to easily launch our sea kayaks using the stairs that lead down to the oceanfront. There were various decks we could use, with Adirondack chairs on the end of the dock, on a lower sun dock and bistro sets on the upper deck outside the cabin. "Cute and quaint, cozy little retreat in the woods. Lots of bird songs to hear, but note that sounds of nearby road are also noticeable. Enjoyed a few good movies as there is an interesting selection of dvds. It is perfectly relaxing; don't forget your bubblebath!"

"We really enjoyed this peaceful and cozy home. The backyard was beautiful, we loved watching the birds and using the soaker tub and sauna. The inside was cozy and comfortable. Everyone had their own space, and we had a lot of fun playing darts and scrabble. The town of Sooke is very cute and the people were friendly. We travel quite a bit, and this has been one of my favorite places. I highly recommend staying here."

"Spent our first night and husband and wife. Was nice to get away from the city without having to drive too much. No frills basic stay. No light pollution on the night of Perseids meteor shower made for some romantic star gazing. Mongolian yurts were interesting to see! Thanks for a nice stay!"
