Jordan Hotel

"We stayed for two nights and had a great time. We stayed in a suite with a kitchenette. It was a very long walk down to the end of the building. I was just recovering from a knee injury so the walk from a far away parking lot and then all the way down the end of the building was not ideal. I did tell the receptionist I just came off crutches so not sure why she put me in the farthest room possible? Next time, I will request a room closer to the pool and gym entrance. There also is very little signage so finding everything was difficult to navigate. The restaurant was closed both times we went downstairs to eat so we had to grab food at the cafe. It was grab and go and very expensive. The pool area and hot tubs were wonderful and the kids enjoyed them. It was relaxing and quiet and much cheaper than renting a VRBO in that area. I prefer a house rental but the prices are out of control."

"The property is a motel. It was fine though and it was very quiet. It is spotless and has comfy mattresses, they were a little soft and lush bedding. The bathroom is a little small, but the shower is ample with nice strong, hot water. We love the fire pit outside. And Cassandra was wonderful helping us with directions to the cog railway and lighting the fire pit. Usually stay in hotels, not motels, but this was fine considering we were just there for the cog railway."

"Maria & Brian are excellent hosts! Even though we only stayed for one night, and arrived when it was getting dark, her communication with us made check-in very easy. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The breakfast choices all sounded amazing but we had our eye on the spinach & mushroom frittata, bacon and home made sour dough toast with strawberry jam. All perfectly served on the time that we selected along with fresh squeezed orange juice and an endless cup of coffee! Wish we could of enjoyed the facilities for a longer stay. Thanks again!"
