Good
Beautiful river that runs straight down the high street with some good bars and restaurants. I saw a big heron on the lookout for salmon and trout

Like many towns in UK there is a need for investment. The architecture is very good but let down by some poor commercial properties. Perhaps a civic society could help and encouragement of artisan shops as well as nationals.

It was raining heavily so we didn't get to explore as much as we could have. Overall a lovely stay.
"Hotel was very clean generally and room was also very clean. Staff were helpful and polite. Pool and jaccuzi is nice addition. Location is right in the middle of the city centre with loads of Restaurants nearby.."
"Just what you need for an overnight stop or a base for local visiting. We were surprised to find we now have to pay a £5 parking fee as we had not booked directly with Days Inn, which was an unwelcome surprise"
