I received clear and precise directions that enabled me to get to the car park. I would otherwise STILL be driving around Carlisle. "

"Comfortable and close to everything. We were able to walk most places within Dumfries. Hearty breakfasts to start the day. Selection of hot foods and continental options. Would stay here again."

"A spontaneous stop over due to traveling a long journey up to Oban. Hotel is very basic but clean, and excellent value for money. Check in was easy and staff were lovely. Only downsides were that the doors slam shut and quite a lot of them are squeaky and creeky (WD40 can easily sort that out). As a light sleeper my slumber was disturbed a fair bit throughout the night. So not a great night sleep for me. Also had to pay £5 for parking (description states free onsite parking) but is still worth a fiver."
