"A perfect place to stay. Location is right by the side of the solway firth with great views and an array of local birds. The accommodation is of a very high standard and has everything you want. A separate bedroom, bathroom and living room. There is a great range of tea, coffee and hot chocolate and they even supply fresh milk daily. When you stay here you are the only guests which gives you the exclusivity and personal touch. Talking of the personal touch, as it was Easter some chocolate...

"The hotel is a stately home. More like a Manor that is just outside Penpont; Thornhill is just a 5 min drive. It’s located in a gorgeous area surrounded by lovely old oak trees and the Scaur River. Excellent for a good walk. "

"Perfect peaceful lodge with everything you need inside and out to fully enjoy the picturesque area. Very clean and tidy. The owner was quick to answer any questions we had. Just down the road from fantastic Loch Arthur farm shop and cafe in Beeswing. Plus you can walk straight up from the lodge into the Mabie forest for a quick stroll or a long hike. All on your doorstep!"

"This house is truly brilliant, lots of space inside and out, very clean, lots of supplies and well though out ‘extras’ eg, fire lighters for bbq and log burner, sewing kit, games etc. I had contacted the owners for some other information and their response was immediate and supportive, all very reassuring. The house is in a quiet area of the park, easy access to the beach, neighbours very friendly, and extremely good value for money. I can’t recommend this property enough, and hope to return one...
