initially I experienced some trouble checking in due to a WiFi Outage, but the staff solved it, the room was large with a comfortable bed, quiet, clean

Desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Property is shabby and needs cleaning and updating.
Not fancy but clean. Front desk staff were helpful when needed. Tight parking if you have a bigger vehicle. No coffee machine in room but 24/7 coffee in breakfast area made up for that.
While the property is showing its age and is in need of a remodel, it was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for our experiences like Point Park Beach, Canal Park, the Aquarium and many others.

Property was ok. Older, needs some update. If just needing a place to sleep for a night, this works. Staff were polite.
This is an older hotel that could use a little refresher but that being said, it’s clean, has comfortable beds, very friendly staff, and nice breakfast. Location is quite convenient for hospital and college.
I would stay here again.
Good place to stay and absolutely fabulous location that is minutes from all the cool stuff to do in Duluth and Superior. I just wish they had a water fountain to refill water bottles and that we could connect more than two devices to the WiFi. Hard to get good cell phone signal sometimes.
No elevator!! Very old property that needs some upkeep & beautification!! You can tell they put no money into that property. The room was clean. There were large stones on the carpeting in our room. We are older and we're expecting an elevator for sure. Luckily, we parked in the back to access our room a little easier. I would never recommend or stay there again.

The room was clean But!! The lobby and hallways were not clean. I think if the cleaning staff would keep the lobby clean and the stairways clean the hotel would get a much higher rating. First impressions are everything. Our room was nice and clean though....
Nice view of the lake. Older hotel but seems well maintained and clean. Broken down truck used for maintenance storage taking up one of the handicapped parking spaces was not so great.
Gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and took it upon himself to upgrade one of our rooms so we could be right next door to each other.
Breakfast was pretty sad. We ended up walking down to Caribou Coffee for breakfast.
Overall, good value for the price for a short-term stay.
I paid extra to stay lake side. But you can’t really see the lake on the 2nd floor. The hotel itself is old. Kind of run down. The breakfast is mediocre at best. The rooms are small, bathrooms are very small. Staff are interesting. Check in guy was nice but odd. Breakfast guy was kind of rude. The only thing I really liked was it was easy to get to from downtown and there are multiple fast food places near including a coffee shop. I would not stay here again, especially not for the price I paid.
