Had a great stay. Property is as advertised. Booked a 2 day fishing trip with Mark and even though the weather was very windy and overcast he kept pushing on until we caught fish both days.

Cute place in an area away from traffic and distractions. Property is well-kept and comfortable. Mark was very responsive to any questions and alerted us right away when the power was out with an update of the situation. Even though we booked last minute everything went smoothly and it was a great experience.
If you're looking for a quiet place to stay and enjoy the surrounding area, this would be a great place to stay.

The property is in great location from the fishing grounds. Also it has parking under roof for your boat to keep it dry in the morning. Having two bathrooms is a plus for a group. The property was clean and organized. Mark was very helpful with anything that we needed it. Excellent fishing camp

The property was excellent, Mark was even better. We stayed three nights, fished three days and had a blast. We will come back soon. Thanks Mark for everything, one of the best times I have had in South Louisiana.

We stayed in this VRBO for about the same price as a hotel in Houma but had access to a nice house and full kitchen on a dead end road. It was very quiet and peaceful with beautiful views of the sky. The house been remodel since the hurricane, some things still to go, but still very functional. Mark was a great host. we will rent again for Mark and maybe try some fishing

Four Point is such a family friendly environment and very close to some of the best fishing Louisiana has to offer. Mark’s camp has everything you need to recover from a long day of fishing or beautiful views to watch the sunrise or sunset from wrap around porch. The entire parish is still recovering from Ida and Mark’s working tirelessly to make sure fishermen can get on the water. Very easy to deal with and may even share some wisdom of where to find the fish. Felt like we were with friends and family vs a “rental property”. Go stay with him and book him for a redfish trip!

Ideal camp for what my buddies and I needed. We rod n reel fished during the day and bow fished at night. Needed a place to take naps in between, and this camp accommodated party of 4 comfortably.
A few improvements that could be made would consist of the following:
-Microwave is shot, needs to be replaced
-Although Chuck and his wife were a joy to meet and visit with, future renters might want to know that other folks will be joining them on the property. It was absolutely zero problem for us, but some folks may want a heads up.
-Gas grill down below is also shot. Be sure to bring charcoal.
Overall great stay and we enjoyed ourselves. Less than a mile from the launch.

Great time down in Dulac at Mark’s camp! The location was fantastic. Close to boat ramp and great fishing. Also close to great food options in Houma. Camp was nice and clean with all of the amenities you need to stay there if you want. Mark was super helpful and available at all times.

My guests and myself felt that the property was somewhat overpriced for what it was. We also didn’t realize the owner was living on property as the listing just said a camper was there when they weren’t traveling. It was a little uncomfortable knowing that we weren’t alone during our stay.
