Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain

5.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (34)
"Underwhelming compared to the likes of Capella, Langham where we are frequent travellers at. Rooms were decent however had mosquitoes on the warmer days we were at. Upgrades were offered at a charge of double the room rate, concierge was unwilling to assist at most times, especially after we declined the hotel tour packages. Won't be staying at six senses again, you can get much better hotels and service for the same price."

Felton Grand Hotel Chengdu

5.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (13)
"I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel quality. At first glance it is the typical Chinese upscale hotel covered in way too much marble, but unlike so many of those I have experienced over the years, the beds were comfortable, not rock hard; the breakfast buffet had both western and Chinese options; the rooms were spacious and well appointed; and the bathrooms were spacious and practical. I was glad for the comfort of the stay and wouldn't mind returning. "
