"Our family of 5 stayed in two cabins in late December 2023 and had a great time. The cabins were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each had a porch looking out over fields and the Macal River. Manon was a fantastic host. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat in San Ignacio and things to do in the Cayo Region. "We had a fabulous stay at Casa Sophia at Alma del Rio. The house is even more beautiful than the photos show. The thoughtful design, attention to detail, and execution are all very impressive. I look forward to seeing the additional lodgings completed. We especially enjoyed the view over the forest and the rainwater shower. Birding from the upper floor was fantastic. "We had a wonderful stay in San Ignacio at the Babette House. The house and the grounds were beautiful and clean and had all the amenities except access to washer and dryer. Plenty of room for a group of 9. House had everything we needed and what we ran out of we got at the market close by. Maybe needs more towels but not a big problem if you brought your own.
