"Location of check in is 5 minute walk from the train station and super easy to find. Grazia and Marco are both lovely and welcoming. The accommodation is based in a traditional old Italian backstreet building with steep stairs and high ceilings, it is quaint and beautiful. Our room (3rd floor) for a couple was small but adequate, the bed was comfortable and the balcony over looking the mountain a nice touch. "Our stay at the villa was amazing. We only stayed for one night and wished we had stayed longer. Francesca was super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was lovely in the morning . Also had a lovely welcome from their golden retriever! The views were amazing from our room and the pool area.. we would definitely come and stay again😊"

"Danilo was exceptional. The villa is stunning. If you want a Lake Como vibe you must choose this villa to stay in. Gardens are amazing, it has it's own beach so you can enjoy and is close to restaurants and other towns. Only 14 minute drive to Bellagio. The room was perfect, comfortable bed and an amazing bathroom both with balconies overlooking the lake. It was marvelous! The breakfast provided in the mornings is also delicious with fresh ingredients. Thanks Danilo for such a great stay."

However it is very difficult to reach. Search for "Ristorante Val Colla B&B" and you will find the correct location. It is in Bogno, not Gandria. "

"Ett helt underbart ställe som jag verkligen rekommenderar. Bra läge med närhet till tåget som på några minuter tar dig till andra orter vid sjön, till Milano etc. Nära till badplatsen. Rummet är rent och rymligt och försett med allt du kan tänkas behöva. Sköna sängar. Vi hade en jättestor balkong med härlig utsikt över sjön. Frukosten är fantastisk och värden Massimo är så trevlig och hjälpsam, bra på att ge tips om aktiviteter och helt toppen på alla sätt. "

"A beautiful and tranquil b&b. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. It is very hard to get to by public transport if you are hoping to explore lake como but we were picked up from the station and lent bicycles for our stay which was so helpful and made a really nice addition to our holiday (we definitely felt silly for not researching the transport enough before). We will definitely come back! "

"Io e mio marito abbiamo alloggiato in questa struttura a Pasqua per due notti: il proprietario è una persona squisita e disponibile pronta ad aiutarci e a darci consigli sul luogo. Abbiamo trovato la camera calda (i termosifoni sono regolabili), e con tutto quello che ci serviva. La colazione buona, abbiamo mangiato briosche, taleggio, pane fresco e marmellata (si poteva anche mangiare biscotti e fette biscottate). Il parcheggio è a pochi minuti a piedi dalla struttura. Consigliato!"

"This was a super fun way to start our tour of Italy. It was fun to feel like we were part of the area, could interact with the people. Our hosts were so gracious and hospitable. We loved the area, being a little off the beaten path worked out great. There were still a few great restaurants and the best gelato we had in Italy was in Lierna! Since we had a car it was a quick drive to Verena where we could park in the parking structure across from Villa Monastero. From there we walked into town,...
