"The location of this property was very picturesque. It was off the beaten path, so it was quiet and safe. Everything was clean and the room was very nice with a comfortable bed. The facility had a restaurant which was great as it is quite far from other meal options. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very relaxing setting for a overnight rest. Thanks for the superb experience!"

"The Ledge is an adorable cottage perched on a hill with 180 degree views of waterfront. We saw herons, plovers, pheasants and a bald eagle. The owners were so friendly and kind. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Make sure you stop in Sherbrooke to get groceries and other supplies you want. The location is quite rural. Luckily we bought some precooked meals from a neighbor down the road and they were really delicious. This is a beautiful area of Nova Scotia. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was a perfect temperature, well supplied kitchen, quiet location. Tamara was very responsive and pleasant whenever I had a question. When you stay here, make sure to visit the Drumhead Market whose friendly owner makes delicious bread on Fridays."

"The location and natural surroundings were stunning. We loved the view, the sound of the waves, and the tranquility. The beach, decks, and exterior furniture were fantastic. Large windows let in so much light, and the WiFi was strong enough for remote work. However, there are some issues. The second bed is just a mattress on the floor, and the first bed was uncomfortable, causing back pain. Basic cooking supplies were minimal, and cell service is spotty. The house leaks when it rains, causing a musty smell. Cleanliness needs improvement—we found mouse droppings and dead bugs. The water is potable but has a strong, unpleasant odor (iron). The owner lets you know after you book to bring in water, but the ad should be updated so people are aware before booking. We did not appreciate the presence of mice and the lack of response from the host. We sent a note halfway through mentioning the high mouse activity and that we caught a mouse with the traps Creighton set up after we called him. The host never responded. Creighton was responsive and helped take care of the mouse, but it would have been nice for the owner to acknowledge our complaint. The furniture was uncomfortable, with no good seating options. While the location was wonderful, the cleanliness, comfort, and communication issues impacted our stay."

"Too bad that 5 stars is the maximum! This property is so welcoming as are the hosts. Our room was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and spacious. The option to open the windows provided fresh air and easy sleeping. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Anna, who we soon learned is also the chef. No need to seek a restaurant in the area since the manor's dining room featured delicious dinners and convenience for breakfast. We stayed for two nights and were sad to leave such a splendid place."

"The cottage was the perfect place for our small team to set up a 'home base' while working in the area. The location was perfect, the cottage was clean and well kept. The host was great, very responsive, and even checked in on us during a passing tropical storm to ensure everything was ok. I would highly recommend!"
