"From the moment we stepped into this property we were met with a friendly host who continued to be very helpful throughout our stay. The apartments are across the road from the pebble beach and a 15 minute walk to Sami. The pool was clean with plenty of lounges and umbrellas. The apartment was large with a balcony, kitchen and washing machine. We did not hire a car but used taxi’s which were very efficient. The fare from the airport was 60 euro and took about 45 minutes. Highly recommended for people who want a relaxed and peaceful experience and environment."

"What a great time we’ve had here in Villa Nina. Our wonderful host Spiros could not have been more welcoming. It is such a peaceful spot with an amazing view down to Sami. We’ll miss that view. The villa was well equipped for us and very comfortable. Great pool and outside space too. Spiros recommended Petros a local taxi driver and he was great too. Really reliable. We will be back!!"

"We had an absolutely lovely time at this hotel, the hotel met all our expectations and far more, the staff are fantastic, so polite, happy and cheery, we could not fault our stay here. It was in such a lovely spot. We will definitely be coming back. We nearly opted to go next door to the 5 star hotel but after reading both sets of reviews for both of these hotels we are so glad we chose this one."

"The villa was lovely and had everything we needed for our family of 4 (kids 15 and 17). The pool was great and always warm. The villa was in a great location to explore all of the island. We hired a small boat (no licence) and explored the coast. This was excellent. We really enjoyed food at the Mediterranean restaurant in Sami. We also loved dinner at White Rocks up the road which had a wonderful view of the sunset.Dimitris was an exceptional host and always available with good advice as well as some lovely cakes :)Strongly recommend this villa and host. Great opportunity with a neighbouring villa to have two families close together."

"We as a family of 6 loved this property. We like to cook at home as eating out with 4 big boys is costly and this kitchen was well equipped.The house is beautiful, spacious, the pool is awesome and the location is perfect!We never got to meet the host, her dad swung by the first day. She is not responsive and , she doesn’t communicate on WhatsApp which makes it so much easier. So if host communication is important to you- this host is going to be disappointing.We would recommend this property though."

"The Walnut Tree truly is a little slice of heaven. Our multi-generational family loved every minute of our stay, and wish it could have been longer. Spotlessly clean, so many thoughtful little touches, incredibly helpful and friendly hosts, stunning scenery, beautiful gardens and wonderful pool - what more could we ask for?"

"The accommodation is well-situated, within walking distance of both the beach and Melissani Lake. There are some sports courts just behind the property that seem free to use, and the bakery next door is fabulous. The local beach was one of our favorites; while it might not have the dramatic beauty of Myrtos or Fteri, it is definitely the coolest beach in Kefalonia. The cold water from Melissani Lake flows into the sea here, creating a refreshing cold top layer. We really appreciated this in the July heat, and there is often a fresh breeze, too. The flat is a good size, clean, and well-furnished. The air conditioning works well, though you can't set the temperature below 23°C (which, to be fair, is cool enough). The only annoying bit is that after a while, the temperature resets itself up to 25°C or 26°C on its own. The owners are great, very helpful and even let us borrow a beach mat and a parasol, which was an absolute lifesaver!There's a couple of restaurant within walking distance which we haven't tried. Sami is only 5mn drive or 30mn walk by the beach and offer plenty choices. I'd definitely recommend this place."

"Villa Andreas is a beautiful, spacious and well equipped home from home . It is quiet and kept spotlessly clean and has wonderful views from its 3 balconies. This would be a very suitable and safe holiday base for a family or for a group of friends. The hosts are friendly and quick to respond to any queries. Though we managed to get about on foot, I would recommend a car, as the villa lies up a hill from the village."
