Way,way, way out in the Texas Hill Country
The place is way, way out of town & GPS does not recognize Jennifer Ln. I did end up getting lost once. It's too secluded. Yellow House was just as pictures shown. It was comfortable enough, I didn't spend all my time there as I was there for my son's graduation from Tx State & meeting with other fam members. The toilet itself is not secure to the floor & very wobbly. The floors are all cement & stained & smeared with not sure what throughout the whole apt, looks really bad. The couch is too soft & you end up sunk in it. The kitchen is not well equipped. 2 miss matched pans & one of them was too burned to use. There's only 2 forks &1 spoon but too many spatulas for cooking & knives of all kinds & sizes. The hair dryer does not work. The hot tub works but had too much sand in it. The communal kitchen grill was not working but the TV does work. The fridge, stove/oven, washer & dryer, TV, AC worked just fine

Peaceful, relaxing, hill country retreat
We were in the area for a wedding at one of the local venues and this was the perfect spot to serve as home base. Sitting on the porch with coffee in the morning listening to all the birds and enjoying the scenery was great. Ample supplies and comfortable furnishings. We especially loved all the hooks for hanging clothes, towels, swimsuits, etc scattered throughout. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect family vacay in the hill country!
The property was very much like a communal camp setting. Great for dogs and children. My kids loved the swings and a decently small wooded area around the property for them to play and explore. The hot tub worked well and was a great place to relax. Close to Wimberly and Canyon Lake.

Would not recommend
The house and area were cute, but I don't have many more good things to say. It was dark when we arrived, and without being able to see the yellow of the house, the check-in instructions weren't good enough to be certain we had the right place. We had to wander up to the door and hope it was the right one and that we wouldn't be disturbing anybody. It was dusty, there was trash left from the previous occupants, and there were old coffee grounds in the coffee maker (which didn't work quite right, by the way). We also had to remove at least 5 daddy long legs spiders from the living room. We were willing to deal with those issues, but the BIGGEST problem that the property owner refused to address was that our bedroom light kept turning on and off during the night while we were trying to sleep. After the first night, I informed them of the issue. I even told them that I was almost certain of how to fix it. They told me they wouldn't be able to send anybody out before my wife and I left. When I told them that was unacceptable, they were suddenly able to send somebody out. However, it was clear that the person just came while we were out doing our day's activities and turned some lights on to make it obvious that they were there because the problem persisted. We couldn't get a good night's sleep. I would not recommend this property.

Not pleased
Upon arrival we pulled up to see the yellow house. We were already disappointed by the overgrown grass surrounding the home. This was very different than the pictures online depicting a well manicured space. Once we walked up to the entrance we noticed the porch was dirty. The water hose was still out and nothing had been cleaned off on the porch. The water hose clearly was not used to clean. The cover from the hot tub filter was on the ground next to the hot tub and the used filter was on the grown and sediment of calcium had settled in the hot tub seats. Worst of all there were two used bandaids and what looked like a blood smear on the side of the hot tub! We contacted the host and someone came soon to fix the hot tub, but at that point we were already grossed out we were not going to use it. Entering the house we were more than disappointed with the cleanliness. Spider webs everywhere, bugs, dust, very wobbly furniture, and zero attention to detail. Had I looked more closely in the images online I would have noticed the bed being that of a dorm room. It leaves much to be desired. The description of the bathroom says plenty of countertop space and it’s simply a sink. Around the toilet was so dusty and dirty. I showered and noticed a hairball on the side of the shower wall and something else I don’t even know what it was. The shower liner was dirty too. The water needs treated because the calcium is ruining the faucets meaning they spray water out in many directions.
