"It was ideal for walking down into the Old Town. External lights shone in below blinds Standby lights were VERY bright one red and one blue There was intermittent ticking noise from heating/aircon control, which was off. In all, I got very little sleep. I have noticed that Campanile have deteriorated over the last few years and I will avoid in the future."

"These type of hotels are hit and miss. I’ve stayed in a lot of them. It was ok for a stopover one night if you don’t expect too much. Basically I just want somewhere to sleep. It all depends on who your neighbours are- unfortunately we had rowdy neighbours who were up a lot of the night making loads of noise with children running around, lots of moving stuff around etc- making no attempt to think of others - so if you encounter that then it’s not going to be good anywhere. The room was the usual type of room, so I know what to expect. "
