"Es war ein toller Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist groß, sauber, alles ist neu. Es fehlt an nichts. Sehr gut ausgestattet und die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Besser geht es nicht."

"Hallo,Viktor hat mit seiner Frau eine wunderbare Location in Ginolfs geschaffen. Mit viel Herzblut hat er das Haus umgebaut. Unten ist eine Gaststätte, die an nur wenigen Tagen in der Woche geöffnet ist. Oben haben die Beiden eine große Ferienwohnung eingerichtet. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Waschmaschine und Trockner sind nicht verfügbar. Stilistisch passt alles wunderbar zusammen.Die Räumlichkeiten sind für bis zu 10 Personen ausgelegt. Im Doppelstockbett zu schlafen geht und erinnert an alte Schulllandheimzeiten.Es sind ausreichend Parkplätze im Umfeld vorhanden.Vor der Gaststätte haben die Beiden einen Terrasse mit Biertischgarnituren und großen Schirmen eingerichtet. Die Plätze können frei genutzt werden außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten der Gaststätte. Selbstversorgung oder auch Versorgung durch Viktor und seine Frau sind möglich. Das ist Vereinbarungssache. Im Nachbarort Oberelsbach ( 5 Autominuten ) gibt es den wunderbaren Bäcker Lenhardt https://www.baeckerei-lenhardt.de/mit seinem leckerem Angebot auch zu Frühstückszeiten. Zudem gibt es dort einen Supermarkt, der alles hat.In Weisbach ( 5 Autominuten ) gibt einen Metzger. Öffnungszeiten sind zu beachten. Wer gerne in Bio-Qualität Lebensmittel kaufen möchte kann das in Ginolfs bei:Kolb's Bio-Hof & Rhönschafladen. Im Umfeld gibt es viele Selbstvermarkter. "The hotel stay was pleasant. Very clean, convenient free parking right at the hotel, breakfast was plenty. Optional dinner on most days. You can start your hikes right at the hotel. I liked the guest kitchen with microwave, coffeemaker and filled refrigerator. The hotel takes the risk counting on honest guests. I really felt good about it. I like to give a shoutout for Renate who was very helpful and professional and friendly all through my stay. Only downturn for me was that I booked the hotel with the hope of using to the Sauna, as there are pictures showing a sauna in the listing. The sauna is no longer available to guests because of high energy costs. Not a big deal, as hiking and sightseeing is great in the area, but I wanted to mention it."

"I was quite pleased with my stay here. It was perfect and economical for my purposes. The staff person was quite nice and helpful, and while the front is not open all the time, it's easy to get in and out. It isn't a town that is open all hours, so don't expect to eat late at night, but it's definitely charming and the hotel was a part of that!"

"Hotel Herzog Georg is a real gem hidden in rural Germany. The size of room is larger than a standard European room and we were very happy to have 2 large size doubles for my wife and 15 yr old son. Breakfast was massive European style and quality was superb. Lots of walking opportunities around town with site seeing and hiking just a short drive away. A couple notes, not much English spoken here, or in town at all. People were extremely gracious and we didnt have any issues, but just be aware. Also there are limited hours for the reception and if you think you will even be close to showing up after 7pm local time, reach out and coordinate how to get room access. We did not do this (our fault) and struggled to get ahold of the reception after hours with our US phones. Overall I would def stay here again if I was coming to the area."
