Christina and Michael were excellent hosts, we had booked two rooms, but on arrival realized we made a mistake selecting a room for the kids with only one bed. Christina worked hard to get us into a more appropriate room the next day. The place was spotless, and it was terrific starting each morning with a personalized breakfast. "Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "We had a wonderful stay at the Marasusa complex in Parghelia. We found the apartment a little ‘tired’ and under equipped - a small saucepan, garlic press, larger dinner plates and better cutlery knives would help. The towels provided were clean but seemed very old and the pillows should have had pillow protectors on them. "We booked into Residence Pietre Bianche for 4 nights and so glad we did. Our apartment was on the top floor (2nd floor) and had amazing views over the water especially the magnificent sunsets. We were very comfortable a large comfortable double bed and a single fold out sofa bed. We didn’t bother cooking as we opted for half board at the fabulous onsite Me Restaurant. Food was really good.
