The Lavendel (Lavender) holiday house is in the north of the island of Rügen, in Lancken near Dranske, between the Baltic Sea and the bodden. The detached house was built in a bungalow style and was completed in 2015. Apart from the terrace and the driveway, it is surrounded by a stone wall planted with lavender and wild roses. There are other detached houses in the surroundings.
The accommodation has a terrace outside with a table, chairs and a grill. There is also a parking space in front of the house, which you can use free of charge.
The first bedroom has a double bed (180 x 200cm) and a single bed (100 x 200cm), the second bedroom also has a double bed (180 x 200cm) and a junior bed suitable for children up to three years old. This room also has a TV. The spacious living room has satellite TV, a sofa suite with a three-seater and a two-seater, an armchair and a coffee table. In the rear part of the living room there is a fully-equipped kitchen with a sink, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, mini oven for preparing meals, and there is also an adjoining dining corner. The bathroom has a shower, WC and washbasin with a cupboard. All the rooms have heating.
It is about 800 metres to the natural beach, where you can look for amber or strolls along the beach, as well as go fishing, windsurfing, swimming or sunbathing. You can get to the popular trip destination of Kap Arkona, the sheer chalk and till coast, by bicycle along the well-developed network of cycle trails. There are shops, a petrol station, riding stables, bicycle hire, restaurants, a doctor and a pharmacy near the accommodation. In Dranske, about 3km away, you can also find supermarkets and take ferries conveniently to Hiddensee, an island to the west of Rügen.
The owner lives nearby, so can usually be contacted if there are any queries. Apart from a step 10cm high in the entrance area, the house is all at ground level and therefore barrier-free.
