"Helene was a superb host. Her communication from booking to check in was excellent, and she came to welcome us at the start of our stay and farewell us at the end. The house is beautiful and even better than the pictures, with a fabulous view of the sea, the saltwater lido pool in the bay and the bouchon mussel farm round the bay. The living rooms are spacious, light, and you ah w great views from the front of the house and of course the balcony which runs across the whole front of the house....

"We were “upgraded” to a different property from the one booked online. Don’t know how different this one was. You need a car! No information available about public transport. Family members were available for our transport. We had to find somewhere to stay at short notice, to attend a family funeral. August in France is always booked up well in advance."

"Nice semi-detached house (owners nice and live next door). Basic facilities no provisions other than salt, pepper and toilet roll. We had to ask for bedding as it was presumed we had brought our own (?!), no towels. Musty smell in living area, but clean otherwise. Good for base for sightseeing beaches, Cancale, St Malo etc."

"A nice, light and airy, modern building in a very nice area. Spacious and comfortable with lots of outside space. We would have appreciated hanging space in the main betroom and more storage space in the kitchen. We would not hesitate to stay again for a short stay."

"This stone house, working water mill, and lush property oozes beauty and charm and is saturated with history. The house is half-museum, showing parts built in the 13c, the inner workings of the mill dating from the French Revolution, and evidence of its role in WWII as well.
