"Unfortunately the hot water was out and I had to take a cold shower. Apparently I wasn't the only guest who had this problem. Since it was Memorial Day weekend, it was difficult to get a plumber to come out and fix it ASAP. The room didn't have central air, but the window unit and ceiling fan did an adequate job keeping the room cool. Overall the service was good. I liked the rustic look of the knotty pine walls and the wooded area the lodge is in. "

"We spent two nights with our family of twenty people (adults, teens, and children) at Stoney Ridge Lodge on the first weekend in March. The lodge is located on a beautiful piece of property and we planned a number of outdoor activities from hiking to a night around the fire pit for our group. "Overall, the house had plenty of room. It was a pleasant home. The owner immediately responded when we couldn't turn on the heat. It is definitely secluded and was great for my son's dog. I would ask the owner to provide a dresser and a mirror in each of the bedrooms to accommodate her guests. Also, a lamp or some floor lighting other than overhead in the living area would have been better. And, instructions on how to navigate the TV would have been better. Overall, I give the stay a 4 star...
