"Our stay was wonderful despite a 24 hour power outage due to a storm but must be expected on the coast in the winter. The suite was lovely. It was designed more as an apartment and will be awesome for the longer stay. The staff was lovely at check in. Breakfast was included but it is a mile or more away at the sister lodge and that was not very clear when we booked so we just skipped and had breakfast in our room. "The smell of the rental was horrible. We walked in to a very strong chemical smell that never went away during our 2 night stay. The windows were permanently locked so we couldn't air it out that way. We had to open the front door for fresh air. The smell was so strong, it was unappealing to even want to cook in the kitchen. "This resort is very nice. We had the ocean view and we can easily access the beach. The room is spacious and has separate room for the beds.The beddings are clean and comfortable. Bathroom was also clean .It is onmy 10 minute drive from Cannon Beach. Check in was easy , staff was nice and helpful. They provided welcome cookies . Breakfast the following day was awesome. They did not skimp ontwhen they say continental breakfast. We enjoyed a huge selection of eggs, sausage, fruits, teas,coffee "
