There were just a host of small things that weren’t quite right, like hair and ants in the bath tub, other small things. I have stayed at other homes that were truly homes, but this one feels run down and used just for hire, like a boarding house rental. "My family was in the Bay Area to visit friends and favorite places before going to a family reunion. This apartment is charming and well-maintained, and in an excellent location. It is near food shops, restaurants and a grocery store and is a half-mile to a BART station. UC Berkeley is a short walk or ride away as well as the rest of Berkeley and Oakland. "Beautifully decorated, light-filled second floor apartment with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen had good cookware, the beds were comfortable, the living room had an amazing cherry tree right outside the picture window! We really liked this house.
