"Breakfast was hot and fresh, great variety of items available. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ourt room was clean with fridge and microwave. The king bed was on the hard side but doable after a long day. Quiet throughout the night was well received."
Spacious 7-bedroom house on the Lake, with AC, WiFi, in peaceful Menomonie WI

"Our family of 14 stayed at this property for four nights. We range in age from 7 to 74. This was the perfect site for our gathering. The home is large, roomy and comfortable. When weather kept us inside, there was something for everyone to do, including pool table, ping-pong, table, workout room, arcade, multiple sitting areas with lake views, game table and screened in deck areas. When we could be outdoors, there was a fire ring, ample firewood, volleyball, net and trampoline. We put all to good use! We rented a pontoon from a local marina, which allowed us to cruise around the lake. Sunsets over the lake were gorgeous! I do think it would be helpful for people to know that there are 82 steps down to the lake. While we handled this well, some people could find it a challenge. Our stay was in July, and the lake was filled with algae which prevented swimming. However, fishing off the pontoon and Sunset cruises were a huge success. The owner was very helpful, promptly returned all of my inquiries and provided helpful information. We would definitely choose this property again in the future."

"Stephanie’s home was spectacular!I recommend getting there within the check in time because her historical tour & info is phenomenal! We unfortunately were late and she still accommodated & treated us so well. The rooms are amazing. Her cooking breakfast was so yummy! Penny the scruffy little dog is so cute. I wish we had more time but we’re on a mission to get to Crosby, MN for mtb. It would be nice to enjoy the screen porch in the evening. We hope to visit & stay again soon. Luxury 5 BR Lakefront Retreat - New Salt Cell Hot Tub!

"The house is beautiful and the host was fantastic! Excellent communication throughout the stay. The house had everything we needed plus some! We went into it fully aware of the steep walk to the lake. They are in the process of adding stairs, which will be a bonus. The only downside was that we were unable to swim in the lake because of blue green algae. Not an issue with the house but do not book in the hot summer months hoping to swim."
