"It's an older place but for the value it was exceptional. I loved the location...500 yards from eruption brewing and 1000 yards from the hot springs entrance so park it and forget it. I will definitely stay again if I'm in lava"

"Second time staying at the Hillside. Love it here!! Spacious room with small couch, TV...comfortable, clean beds. Large shower, shampoo conditioner and body wash included & clean fluffy towels. Games under the beds for entertainment, patio with tables and chairs to lounge with partial view of the town. My only suggestion is if you drink coffee, bring your own sugar and cream. We'll book here every time!! You won't regret staying here!"

She kindly changed the reservation and gave us a room for the current night rather than the next night which I'd booked.
