"We had a very comfortable one night stay at The Woodside. The staff were friendly and efficient and the service was done with a smile. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. The room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. The hotel is in a good location and we were able to walk into town and down to the castle in no time at all. We will definitely return for another stay."

"Booked a short notice overnight stay in one of the upgraded pods. It was very nice with a very nice location. It was really quiet and peaceful. We booked dinner in the restaurant and the staff wee attentive, accomodating and very polite. The food choice wasnt huge but the quality of the food was good. It was a little pricey for what it was but you are paying tourist hotel prices. Overall we had a lovely time and would consider booking one of the larger cottages for a family event in the future."

"The Hotel was a former school and situated close to the Castle. It was walking distance to the town and several restaurants. We enjoyed a swim and sauna in the morning before stiing down to a wonderful meal with several options for everyone."
