It appears to be a fairly new home, with about 6 guest rooms and a light-filled breakfast room with a view of Wallace Monument and an open fief and hills. "Lovely stay. I misjudged my arrival time and arrived around 10:15pm, way after the 7pm check-in deadline. I did communicate with Francesca (owner) at 8pm that I would be late. She was super sweet and accommodating and I apologized several times. I would definitely stay again. Great room, location, breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend!"

"Ravenswood guest house was a pretty building with three parking spaces in their front drive, which was very convenient. (There was also easy street parking around the corner if need be) Our room was very clean and comfortable with a modern en-suite. Stuart was a charming, friendly and helpful Host and his partner's artwork adorned the walls which gave it a really unique feel! The breakfast was delicious and plenty to choose from. We really enjoyed our stay! "

"We loved Highland Guest House. It's in a perfect location in a great little tow. Our hosts were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic, and another guest lounge had supplies of tea, coffee and fruit available during the day. We found many wonderful walks in the area, great meals in the nearby pub and lots of interesting shops in town. This guest house was also the best value accommodation we found on our holiday in the UK."

"A night in a tent in a garden for £140 is a bit expensive specially for the quality of it. Floor uneven and cracked, and smelt a bit dump. Bathroom (in main house) is a bad design and water goes everywhere. We wanted to ask the owner questions, while they were in their private room, and as soon as we tried to get their attention, they went quiet and ignored us. They must have been able to hear me. I found it rude."
