"Perfect location, we walked to everything. The condo had everything we needed and decorated adorable. So happy we could bring our shih-tzu with us. The parking spot the condo was tight, not sure if I would be able to park the SUV if the condo lot was full. "We wanted something that was walking distance to downtown and the lake. This property gave both. We were able to walk to different parts of the lake from this property and easy walking to the main downtown/ Martine Museum. There is a full kitchen with most supplies. The layout of the place was nice as well. The bridge that goes over the Black River is right outside and it didn’t affect our sleeping. I even brought ear plugs just incase and never used them. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay....

"I think a lot of the negative reviews are unwarranted. It was clean and had plenty of room for the 6 of us (plus dogs). The house is old and you need to use the window AC units, but it was fine and stayed cool all day. The prices are 1/2 that of other properties in the area. The house is a few minutes away from the beach. It is a duplex, but we never had an issue with the neighbors. The only bathroom is on the top level and up a flight of steep steps. "My husband and I traveled to Saugatuck to celebrate our 26th anniversary. We had been to the area numerous times but this was the first time we stayed in town. This property was perfect! We could walk to all of our favorite destinations and if we had a need to go further out, we didn’t have to worry about parking when we returned because the property had a designated spot.
