"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. "Our stay at the Hotel du Parc was outstanding. Right from our easy check-in to the delicious meals, by Chef Jeremy Gilbert, we were extremely impressed and pleased with every element of our stay. "Exquisite taste in decor. Rooms were large and bathrooms were very functional. The breakfast meals were incredibly well thought out. Fruit, meats, cheese and of course, bread were fresh and extremely tasty. Dinner was in a classy restaurant. The menu was not common; however, the combinations were very delicious. The staff was kind. The wine from the owner’s vineyard was amazing. I recommend this property."
