"We arrived late and the drive felt like we would never get there. But when we arrived the greetings were over accommodating and fixed us a glass of wine and a light dinner. Very unexpected. Our room was lovely and decorated very French! The room was clean the breakfast was great! The bed was comfortable and the shower was wonderful. "

"Une nuit réservée à l'occasion du CFD, vu de l'extérieur, le lieu ne paraît vraiment pas accueillant, cela fait même un peu peur quand on vient d'arriver, l'hôte parle mal français et n'est pas tres presentable, nous ne sommes pas rassurés. "Absolutely couldn't wish for a better place to relax and recharge our 'parent' batteries. Beautiful place with a great and friendly service. Completely tranquil and romantic. "We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."

"Nothing like the pictures when we booked. Very shabby accommodation. One indoor very crowded pool and No facilities on site, you have to go int Saumur which is a lovely city. You have to pay extra for bedding . Beds uncomfortable and furniture all very old. Definitely not worth the money. "

"More than most properties - Gille’s sprawling 16th, 17th and other centuries place will mould to your wishes. No heated pool for us and the games room remained quiet. But a wonderful maze with parking for only the Le Mans champs ( like myself). Everything is close and walkable."
