"Had a lovely say this week at Chez Mathilde. It was chosen for the peace and quiet and because of the lovely cosy feel of the property. It was just the right distance for us to explore the forts and bunkers around Verdun. The gite itself, had everything we needed including a wood burning fire. Annie was lovely and made us a quiche, which was the best I have eaten. If we go back to this region again, we will defiantly be booking Chez Mathilde again."

"Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Mit einem schönen Ofen (und vorhandenem Holz) ist es noch gemütlicher. Der Garten ist komplett umzäunt und für Hunde ideal. Es war alles sehr sauber, geräumig und fehlte an keiner Ausstattung. Mit dem Hund konnte man eine schöne Runde über Felder und durch das kleine Dorf mit Kirche drehen. Für den EK und zur Besichtigung anderer Städte ist ein Auto notwendig."

"We had a great time staying here when we came to visit Verdun. We found the place to be very peaceful and we were able to really relax. "Het voldeed aan al onze verwachtingen. Een zeer rustig dorpje met aardige mensen. Veel natuur en geen lichtvervuiling in de nacht. Stadjes en supermarkten in de buurt, 15-30 minuten. De gites is berekend op ca 6 personen en ruim voorzien van servies en bestek. Er was een overvloed aan keukengerei wat fijn was voor de chef ;)"
