"Overall, this hotel is an excellent value. Great location, helpful staff, surprisingly quiet. My only disappointment? My room initially smelled strongly of disinfectant. The second night, it reeked of cigarette smoke. Both made it a challenge to sleep."

"Lovely welcome Beautiful spacious room Fantastic rooftop bar Great breakfast choice Hotel is not far from La Rambla and had some lovely small traditional bars and restaurants in the area. Only one downside in my opinion. At night, the immediate area outside of the hotel had a lot of vagrant/undesirable types which our taxi driver also warned us about. Typical of a big city perhaps."

"The location is terrific for walking and exploring. The downside to it, is that it is located on a pedestrian alley. Taxis have access and the desk will call for service. There is a fabulous bakery across the street. Next door, great restaurants. I'd stay here again. It is a simple hotel. Nothing fancy. One elevator."

"The property/hotel is a mix of old and modern, the rooms are comfortable and spacious with everything you might want to hand; the communal areas are steeped in history and luxury; the bar and breakfast area are a mix of the two. Staff are super professional and helpful, they work incredibly hard on reception as they often seem to have cruise people all leaving at once but without issues. Location is perfect 2 min walk to the “5th avenue” type shops and only a few more minutes to Las Rambles (but far enough away). When returning to Barcelona would definitely use again"
