"We stayed at Catalonia Portal de l’Angel from August 14–16 before heading out on a cruise, and it was a wonderful start to our trip. Even though the hotel is located on a pedestrian‑only street, our taxi from the airport was able to drive right up to the front door, which made arrival incredibly easy. We landed early (around 8 AM), fully expecting that our room wouldn’t be ready. The staff were friendly and welcoming, offering us access to a bathroom so we could freshen up and change, and then stored our bags while we explored the city. When we returned around 1 PM to cool off in the lobby (it was about 34°C), we were pleasantly surprised — after just a few minutes of sitting, we were told our room was ready and escorted upstairs. I had originally booked a Double Room with Balcony, but at check‑in we were offered an upgrade to a Premium Double Room with Terrace, which was fantastic. The private rooftop terrace with chairs and a table became one of our favourite parts of the stay — perfect for enjoying wine and tapas after a day of exploring. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the location couldn’t be better. It’s close to hop‑on/hop‑off stops, major sites, and easy walking routes throughout the city. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend to others."

"Hotel Europark. La habitación y el baño son súper modernos, amplios y estaban impecablemente limpios. Lo mejor de todo es su excelente ubicación. Puedes ir caminando a las principales atracciones turísticas y la zona está repleta de restaurantes muy buenos. El personal además fue muy atento."

"The Hamsa House was an excellent stay for our Europe trip, staff were more than happy to help and remembered your name. Rooms were extremely clean and room was taken care of. One of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. Amenities kit was very nice to have in the room. White noise machine is available as this hotel is located downtown. Very close to everything. Bed/mattress, pillows and sheets and duvet were very comfortable. Will definitely stay there again if ever back in Barcelona. Highly recommend!"
