"Barcelo Raval Hotel has good service and very hospitable staff. The building is 4-5 stars beautiful like buildings in Vegas style. The vicinity is dominated by Moroccan, Romanian and Middle eastern people. It is trader busy area, constant people on the street. you will be fine as long as you mind your own business. Like anywhere else in the world, there will be a bad spot where shady people hang out and you have to avoid those places mostly at night. I actually witness a group (ethnic) street brawl happened during our stay there. Police are frequently patrolling the area for safety purposes."
