"Great stay each and every time "

"The staff were very friendly except for one blackjack dealer. i loved the food options. Bistro Mariposa had excellent food and Dave our waiter was great. The casino had way too many slot machines and not enough blackjack tables. They had one table with a game that i couldn't quite understand and nobody was playing it. Real easy to get to. My wife has issues with her back , so finding a bed she can sleep on can be tricky. The beds there were very comfortable and she had no problem. Overall it was a excellent stay. I'd recommend it for a nice weekend getaway due to it's proximity to Denver."

"This was a beautiful cabin in the mountains near Blackhawk CO. It was conveniently located - a few short minutes to the Blackhawk casinos, 30 minutes to Golden, and 45 minutes to Denver. The owners were very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we might need. Check in and out was easy. Everything was high quality, including very comfortable beds. We had four feet of snow in a freak snow storm and the owners made sure we were OK and arranged plowing. I can't say enough about the service Brian and Teresa provided for our entire stay. They felt like friends."

"This mountain home was a lovely place for a reunion gathering with a couple of old friends. Weather in Denver was mild, but the snow began as soon as we got up the mountain, and it didn't stop all weekend! Absolutely beautiful, but we were happy to have an AWD rental vehicle. Pros: The hot tub is just as *amazing* as we'd hoped, and we stayed cozy with the wood stove while it snowed. Hosts had snow shovels, a couple of pairs of strap-on snow shoes, in addition to thoughtful amenities we couldn't use due to weather, like grilling equipment and a great dining setup on the deck (which has a nice view). No shortage of entertainment options for movies and music; solid WiFi (but no cell signal!). (Minor) Cons: While the upper level is gorgeous, with a ski lodge/log cabin vibe, the bedrooms are all in the basement, and it's cold down there. Each room has its own small, forced-air wall unit or baseboard radiator. These are mostly effective, but they make the air super dry and at least one was a little loud for sleeping (unless you're into white noise). Overall: Excellent, with a well-appointed kitchen. Be sure to buy the groceries you'll need while you're still near a town of decent size! (We paid $16 for a lb. of sugar and a bottle of honey at the convenience mart nearby!) This place is neat and comfortable; it's not "hotel clean," but it's as clean as the home of the last respectable family you stayed with. We loved our stay. Many thanks to the hosts for opening their home to us!"

"We had a spectacular stay at this property. Everything inside was up-to-date. We loved the hot tub each evening and we explored the area during the day. Love being close to Nederland as it is one of our favorite places (it is where the grocery store is). Black Hawk is close if you like the casinos, but not many shops left there. Idaho Springs isn't much further past Black Hawk and has great shops and great dining. We have never visited Colorado in early spring. We were worried about the snow. The roads were clear, and my adult children had a great time in the snow in the yards (LOL). Even on the one cold day, that we determined was our "work day," we enjoyed being inside and watching the snow fall (the graupel was a fun experience to watch). The internet was good (no cell service for Verizon, some for ATT), the TVs and Pool table were good too. There were a few minor things we contacted the host about, and they were taken care of quickly. Always able to contact them the whole time we were there. Would highly recommend this property. We would rent it again in the future."
