The Herrlichkeit Dornum is located on the East Frisian North Sea coast approx. 25 km north of Aurich.
You can explore the beautiful landscape on foot or by bike. You can walk to the historic town centre in about 10 minutes. A number of cycle paths invite you to explore the area. The beaches in Dornumersiel and Neßmersiel can be reached by car within 10 and 15 minutes respectively. Bensersiel is around 20 minutes away by car and Neuharlingersiel can be reached in around half an hour. The journey to Norddeich also takes around half an hour. The towns mentioned are not just inviting places to linger and stroll. The East Frisian islands can be easily reached from the harbours. You can take a day trip from Norddeich to Norderney and Juist, from Neßmersiel to Baltrum, from Bensersiel to Langeoog and from Neuharlingersiel to Spiekeroog.
In Dornum there are three supermarkets and a bakery where you can buy everyday necessities. The nearest drugstore can be reached in 10 or 15 minutes by car.
The holiday flat was completely renovated in 2018 and is located in a cul-de-sac in a residential area in Dornum.

Your holiday home was completely renovated in 2018 and is part of a semi-detached house with a floor area of approx. 75 sqm.
You reach the flat via a private driveway with a covered parking space.
A large entrance hallway leads to the rooms on the ground floor. From there, a curved staircase leads to the top floor, where the two bedrooms and a bathroom are located.
The sunny living room with a cosy corner sofa and a view of the greenery is equipped with a TV and a small selection of books and games. Directly in front of the living room is a south-facing terrace with a seating area.
On the street side is the kitchen with a dining area for four people. A high chair for children can be provided on request. There is also a small guest WC and a utility room with a cloakroom on the ground floor.
The top floor has two bedrooms. You sleep either in a double bed (2 mattresses 80 x 2.00 m) or in two single beds (mattresses 90 x 2.00 m each). It is possible to add a cot to one of the bedrooms. The bedrooms can be darkened at night with opaque curtains. The bathroom is equipped with a shower (90 x 1.00 m), a towel radiator, WC and washbasin with vanity unit. You can use free WLAN in the flat. You are also welcome to make telephone calls to the German landline network via the flat's connection.
