Magnifique séjour

Séjour de 4 nuits. Tout était parfait: cadre, accueil, chambre très jolie propre et spacieuse avec une belle vue. Salle de petit déjeuner très accueillante avec le petit plus du poêle chaleureux. Buffet copieux et varié. Un merci spécial à notre hôte des petits déjeuners pour sa gentillesse et son sourire! Et merci aussi à Ozzie pour sa bonne humeur!

It‘s a absolute outstanding place, very friendly and helpful people (more friends than staff), clean, comfortable room. The kitchen is open to the guets and David the Master of good cooking! The view from the restaurant is very nice. We recommend the Steading to all travellers with highest standards! You won‘t be disappointed We never had such a beautiful location, 5 stars are too less...

The location is very good. Really well appointed, rooms are of a very high standard containing everything that you need for your stay. The staff are all very professional and friendly, the food is of a high standard.

Very quiet location for good nights sleep.

Stayed here 2 nights. Room we were given was not room we had booked but mentioned to owner and we were given a better room straight away. Very comfortable bed and lovely big bathroom. Tasty breakfast. We did not have dinner as menu not to my partners liking.

Outstanding Experience - Highly Recommended!

Simply outstanding! We keep comparing our other hotel, inn, B&B experiences within Scotland and keep saying “it’s not The Steading”.....Jayne and Stephen were perfect hosts along with the entire staff plus having a great chef in Andrew. The room was well appointed, clean, quiet and had plenty of space. Excellent breakfast and the dinners far exceeded expectations. And, of course, the golf in the area is hard to beat...... My wife and I highly recommend The Steading and look forward to a return visit.

Wonderful B&B just a two minute drive to Center of Dornoch town. Everything was fantastic. The hosts, Steve and Jane, were warm and welcoming. The staff was truly great and friendly. We enjoyed two nights at the Steading. Had dinner one of the nights and it was quite enjoyable. The Steading is a great place to make your base for touring the Highlands, playing golf or just relaxing in te Dornoch area. Can’t leave out a mention of Ozzie, the Steading’s loyal and friendly Collie. Our experience was like spending a few days at home. Very comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommend.

Excellent and faultless

We booked the Steading as the final accommodation on our NC500 route. The dwelling is in a superb setting outside of Dornoch. Every guest consideration had been thought of including IT and WIFI + bathrobes and slippers. Rooms were spotless and bed very comfortable. A communal guest room with sofas and shared refreshments available is a nice idea too.

Highly Recommended.

The Steading is a beautifully restored and converted whisky grain store. It is an excellent five star B&B run in the most friendly and professional manner by Jayne and Stephen who go out of their way to make sure their guests have a wonderful stay.
