"First impression when we arrived was how clean it was (VERY!) and that it looked exactly like the pictures or better. "We had a quick and comfortable stay in The Hen House. We aren't crafters but it would be a great set up for a crafting group get away. The beds were comfortable, the house super clean, the kitchen big and stocked with equipment, and communication with the owner could not have been better. There is a cute firepit out back that we didn't have a chance to use due to rain but the setting is among lovely farm land. We would stay again."

"We had a group of 3 families (9 total adults and kids) stay at this home during the WIAA state track meet weekend. It is very close to La Crosse which made the home a prrfect location. The house was everything as described. Beautiful views. Super clean and comfortable. There was so much room we didnt even use one of the rooms! Check in and communication was great. Thank you to the hosts for giving us the perfect place to stay during the meet."

"Beautiful setting right on the Upper Iowa River. Very private. Very clean. This was a girl's trip (5 of us) and the sleeping arrangements were perfect. We are already talking about coming back. The only issue we had was no railing on the steps going into the house (even though it was only a few steps) and railing only on one side of the steps going to the basement. We had a couple people with mobility issues and had to be very careful. We strongly suggest getting railings in those 2 places. One...

"Rooms are very attractive and clean. Coffee is excellent as are breakfast. I was bothered at first they didn't make beds and pick up towels. We stayed only 2 nights and i wasn't aware of the policy. We had plenty of towels so not a problem. Very quiet. "
