"It was incredible. What a house. There were fifteen of us: my husband and I celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary, with 3 children and their spouses, all in their forties, and 8 grandchildren. Oldest grandchild is 19, youngest is 4. Property was perfect for all. Loved snorkeling in the bay. Great location to enjoy so much that the island has to offer. We had one very small problem: a stuck door in one bedroom. I made a call, it was repaired the very same day. Great service. An absolutely beautiful stunning home and property."

"This place was better than expected. The bathroom was nicer than my own bathroom back home. I enjoyed the visits by the resident dog Coco and the wakeup call by the village rooster. Truly! I can't think of anything this property lacks. It's beautifully decorated and well-maintained."

"Our stay at Gingerhill Farm in Hawaii was a truly unique experience and the perfect retreat. If you're looking for something comfortable and memorable outside of the traditional resort stay, this is it. The outdoor shower and open-air kitchen were absolute highlights—they made us feel immersed in the beautiful surroundings while still having everything we needed. The property is filled with lush gardens, blooming ginger, and vibrant tropical plants that create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. We also loved spotting the friendly geckos throughout the property, which added to the authentic island experience. A wonderful bonus was discovering the beautiful artwork by Mayumi Oda displayed throughout the property. Her vibrant, nature-inspired prints complemented the peaceful setting perfectly and added another layer of inspiration to our stay. If you appreciate nature, tranquility, and a one-of-a-kind place to stay, Gingerhill Farm is a wonderful choice!"

"The property is as described - beautiful ocean view - especially from kitchen and sun room. The Koa Wood used in the house is beautiful. Kitchen was easy to use and had everything needed to cook and serve meals. Everyone enjoyed the pool. The pull out sofa did not have bedding on it. We requested sheets several times, but none arrived.My son clean all of the filters in the ac units in the house, because none of them were working properly. After cleaning the filters we had adequate air flow. (management please stay on top of maintenance). Our group of 9 had a wonderful week on the Big Island."
