We drove out to Murvagh Beach (great walk in the not-so-great weather), visited Donegal Castle, ate good food everywhere we went (didn't have a single poor food experience). Missed out on getting to the cliffs west of town but Donegal was awesome.

Donegal town is charming. There are a few nice cafes and small shops. There is a lovely craft village which unfortunately for us was closed but will reopen in March.

"Lovely stay in our upgraded Tower Suite. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. The Father Browne photography exhibit in the basement in the pub is well worth checking out. The staff were very friendly."
"What a charming hotel! The room was just right. Our favorite part was the lovely breakfast. The whole experience made us feel like we were unplugging from our busy lives. Can’t beat the location! "
