"Great bargain B&B. Shared bathroom is clean. Great shower pressure. Rosemary is an amazing host - hospitable and so friendly. We arrived really late at night and she was kind enough to feed us as there didn’t seem to be a lot of late night food options in the area. Easy to find street parking. Bus stop into downtown Belfast is just across the street. About a 30min bus ride to center of city. (Tip: buy a day pass for the bus via the mLink app, £3.70). "

"Carol was an amazing host and had a wonderful home that she welcomed us into. The room was comfortable and made for a great first stop after an overnight flight. Breakfast each day was awesome and full of options! It’s also incredibly convenient to the ferry that takes you to Cairnyarn, Scotland. Highly recommended. Parking is a bit limited but not uncommon in areas like this. Just find a space and avoid the double yellow lines!"

"The rooms and owners were great. Breakfast was wonderful. The views were incredible. Loved sitting out on the shore. Quiet and restful the only issue we had is that no restaurants were open after 7 pm. So we had to eat before heading back to Portaferry. Would highly recommend."

"Isobel, Is a superior host! Very Welcoming!!! The property is amazing and easy to find. Very clean and spacious. Quality linens. Our room had an on suite bathroom. The breakfast was more than what we can eat. A for the quality of the breakfast and attentiveness of the host. We very much appreciated the restaurant and Beachwalk recommendations. We live in East Cork. We will return to Northern Ireland, twice a year and The Mulberry’s is the only place we will book. Thanks a million Isobel."

Brian and Cora were lovely hosts, provided all the information I needed for my stay, were very helpful in making dinner reservations, very accommodating to my schedule for checking out, and provided great relaxation services on short notice. "Botanic Rest B&B was clean and basic. It lost points for noise and safety. When we checked in we took our suitcases up the stairs. About halfway to our room in the hallway on a few stairs up, a man was doing some repairs in the doorway to a room. His tools (including an electric screwdriver) were in the middle of the stars and hallway. We had to move them, so we could get past. Pretty unsafe. The breakfast was nice. They had the usual continental breakfast and you could order hot items off...
